About the Owner

Gerald W. Stidham, President and Founder of Eagle America Consulting Services (E.A.C.S.), holds two licenses in California for brokering bulk wines, case-goods and wine grapes, as well as an importer's basic permit for coordinating international bulk transactions.

Since the founding of E.A.C.S. in 1998, Mr. Stidham has applied his 35+ years of licensed business experience towards assisting many winery-clients, commercial grape growers and winemakers, with their mutual wine marketing and production goals.

Spurred by a long-standing interest in the wine world, he planted a Primitivo test vineyard in 2006 at his El Dorado Hills property, for hands-on viticulture experience. He subsequently became an active member of the El Dorado Wine Grape Growers Association as well as the El Dorado Home Winemakers Association as a means of adding to his education in both viticulture and enology. While serving as the Marketing Committee Chairman for the Grape Growers Association from 2010 to 2013, Mr. Stidham was able to interface with countless contacts within the local wine industry, the eleven western states and British Columbia.

He now resides in Shingle Springs, CA and continues to remain an avid marketing consultant and viticulturist today, while managing a 500-vine test vineyard of various Bordeaux grape varietals at his Eagle Estate acreage.
